Innovations in Decision-Making: Advanced Tools in the MCDA

Abstract:

Regarded as a specialized branch of operations research, Multi-Criteria Decision Analysis (MCDA) is focused on the explicit evaluation of multiple, often conflicting, criteria in decision-making processes. This methodology is particularly pertinent in complex scenarios where decision-makers are required to balance a variety of objectives that may be at odds with one another. MCDA encompasses a range of techniques and tools designed to structure the decision-making process, assisting those involved in discerning and weighing different factors to arrive at informed and balanced choices. The forthcoming presentation will delve into the most recent developments and innovations in MCDA, developed by Dr. Sałabun's research team, discussing the latest research breakthroughs, new and innovative methodologies, and the advent of novel tools.
